Perry Austin Fillmore of Elsie died Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the age of 36. He was a Clinton County Sheriff Deputy and died as a result of an auto accident while on duty. He was also the Clinton County D.A.R.E. officer in the public schools.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan. Rev. Jim James will officiate and burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery in Fairfield Township, Michigan. Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 P.M. and Monday 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Perry was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1967 the son of Perry Hugh & Irma I. ( Kisselbach ) Fillmore. He attended Ovid-Elsie School graduating with the class of 1986. Perry continued his education at Lansing Community Collage and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. On June 6, 1992 he married Paula Coleman in Ovid, Michigan. He enjoyed Woodworking, Fishing and was a practical joker.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Fillmore of Elsie, Michigan, his parents, Perry & Irma Fillmore of Elsie, Michigan, 4 sisters, Linda & Roger Rademacher of Ovid, Michigan. Helen Rust of Elsie, Michigan, Diana & Mike Koyne of Charlotte, Michigan, and Grace Bucher, mother & father in law, Robert & Pat Coleman of Elsie, Michigan, many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents.
