Philip Meyers

Philip Lee Meyers age 80 of Oakley, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI.

Phil's wishes were to be cremated.  No services will be held.

Philip was born in Elba Township, MI on March 31, 1938, the son of James and Viola (Bishop) Meyers.  Phil married Wilma on October 20, 2000 in Oakley, MI. He resided most of his life in the Oakley area.

Phil worked at the Elevator in Oakley for many years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Meyers of Oakley, MI; sister Shirley and Bill Larkins of Oakley, MI; sister Karen and Bob Meredith of Ovid, MI; brother Doug and Debbie Meyers of Morrice, MI; step-son Bryan and Shelly Grappin of Pinconning, MI; and step-daughter Tammy and Ken Burghardt of Detroit, MI. Phil was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Annabelle.
