Phyllis Marr

Phyllis Ann Marr, age 73, of St. Louis, MI passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Terri Bentley will officiate. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday May 29, 2009 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Phyllis was born in Alma, Michigan on January 16, 1936, the daughter of Theron and Alta (Crowell) Wolfe. She graduated from Alma High School, class of 1954 and attended Lansing Community College. She resided most of her life in Alma & St. Louis. Phyllis married James Marr on August 5, 1962 in Alma, MI. She was a member of the St. Louis First United Methodist Church.

Phyllis is survived by her husband James Marr of St Louis, MI, son Brian and Bobbie Marr of St. Louis, MI, 5 grandchildren, sister Barbara Burke of Brady, Nebraska, and brother-in-law Cecil and Jackie Marr of Dewitt, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Lisa Hill.
