Phyllis E. Stover age 80 of St. Louis, MI died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Stephen Shook will officiate with burial at Jasper Township Cemetery, Midland County, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI.
Phyllis was born in Wheeler, Michigan on February 13, 1928 the daughter of Newell and Lizzie (Lockwood) Breidinger. She resided most of her life in Porter Township and Jasper Township and she graduated from Breckenridge High School with the class of 1946. Phyllis married Robert E. Stover on February 15, 1947 in Breckenridge, MI. Phyllis was a homemaker and she loved her family very much. They meant everything to her. She also enjoyed gardening and canning.
She is survived by her husband Robert Stover of St. Louis, MI, daughter Karen and Alva Kelley of Ithaca, MI, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, brother Daryl and Doris Breidinger of Breckenridge, MI, and cousin Aera Clark of Alma, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sons; Larry & Robert and 1 brother Garth Breidinger.
