Raeanne Jo Grass age 34 of Alma, Michigan died Monday, April 24, 2006 at Gratiot Medical Center Alma, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate with burial at Greendale Township Cemetery Oil City, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. and Friday, April 28, 2006 for one hour prior to the service at 1:00 P.M.
Raeanne was born in Lansing, Michigan on November 7, 1971 the daughter of Randall Grass and Constance ( Kappler ) Baxter. She graduated from Westerville High School in Ohio with the class of 1989. She worked for Chase Manhattan Bank of Ohio for over 5 years, before moving to Alma, Michigan. Raeanne played the flute and picolo and she enjoyed singing. She loved animals, especially cats. She was a very kind and loving person who very much loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews especially Sabrina. She also was a CAN and enjoyed working with the handicapped and elderly people. She was also a swedish massage therapist. Raeann, you are greatly loved and we all will miss you. Rev. 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor out cry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
She is survived by her father Randall & Kathy Grass of Millersburg, MI, mother: Connie & Jeff Baxter of Gahanna, OH, sister Andrea Grass of Bexley, OH, step-sister Jennifer & Kent Hoyt of Onaway, MI, niece Sabrina Grass, niece Cassandra Paisley, niece Shawna Paisley, nephew Alec Paisley, grandmother Helen Grass of Oil City, MI, grandparents Warren & Louanne Hetrick of Mora, MO, aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. She is predeceased by grandparents Richard Grass and Leon & Pauline Kapplar.
Memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel, 117 North East Street, St. Louis, MI 48880.
