Randy Lynn Brown, age 50, of Owosso, & Muskegon, MI passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Brian's House, a hospice facility in Davison, Michigan.
In accordance with Randy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. A second Memorial Service & visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 1-3 P.M. at Trillium Banquet & Conference Center 17246 Van Wagoner, Spring Lake, MI 49456. A dedication will be given at both gatherings by Mr. Jordan Dann.
Randy was born in Flint, Michigan on February 27, 1959, the son of George Dennis and Betty June (Thompson) Brown. He attended grade school and middle school in Owosso and graduated from Mona Shores High School, Muskegon, MI with the class of 1977. Randy worked his adult life in the construction field and retired from Verizon in December 2006.
Randy loved hunting, fishing, and boating with the wind blowing in his hair. In the last few months he found peace and tranquility in the Prudenville area. Heartfelt thanks to all of his friends for their love and support during his final days.
He is survived by his son Kyle T. Brown of Muskegon, MI, daughter Nicole R. Brown of Muskegon, MI, brother Kim and Norene Brown of Owosso, MI, sister Denise and Craig Foust of Flagler Beach, FL, sister Robin and Kevin Coston of Owosso, MI, special sister Cheryl Carpenter, niece Keli and Jay Bobel Murillo of South Lyon, MI, niece & god daughter Magon and Frank Sprague of Owosso, MI, nephew Brody Brown of Charleston, SC, nephew Jordan Dann of Owosso, MI, nephew Connor Dann of Owosso, MI, great niece Alais Murillo of South Lyon, MI, great niece Ammya Brown of Owosso, MI, great nephew Blane Murillo of South Lyon, MI. He was predeceased by his parents; George Dennis Brown, Betty June Brown and grandparents Doris & Roy Thompson, & Dorothy Brown.
