Randy Shaw

Randy Lee Shaw age 61, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at his home after a short battle with cancer.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Doug Strait officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Randy was born in Alma, MI on November 18, 1957, the son of Raymond and Bernetta (Husted) Shaw.  Randy graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1976 and received an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics from Ferris State University.  Randy owned and operated Shaw's Auto Service for the last 28 years. He got his start farming the family farm.

Randy loved his muscle cars and car shows.  He enjoyed his time at the lake with his family and his dogs.  Randy lived for his kids and grandkids. He was proud to meet the youngest McCoy who was born January 4. Randy was passionate about his shop and took great pride in his work. He had a reputation for great service.

Randy is survived by his son Blake (Flannery) Shaw of Fenwick, daughter Kelsey (Logan) Mills of Ithaca, 4 grandchildren: Easton, Axtin, Kaegan and McCoy; his very special friend and companion Rhonda Duplessis, brother Gary (Marilyn) Shaw of Perrinton, and several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father Raymond Shaw, mother Bernetta Wingle, step father Jack Wingle, sister Karen Munson, brother Rick Shaw, and sister Laurie Smith.
