Rhea Webb

Rhea V. Webb, age 99, of Henderson, Michigan died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Welcome Home Assisted Living, in Elsie, Michigan.
Memorial Service at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Herb Wheelock will officiate.
Rhea was born in Jones, Michigan on December 22, 1910, the daughter of Jay and Willow (Pound) Moyer. She graduated from Three Rivers High School with the class of 1927. On August 9, 1942 Rhea married Roland O. Webb in Jones, Michigan, Roland died in 1965.
Rhea was an avid sports fan and a real nature lover, and a member of the National Audubon Society. She made many trips to Africa & India to observe large mammals and animal behavior. She had the opportunity to sit with mountain gorillas in Zaire & Rwanda, Africa. In June of 2001 she attended her 74 class reunion at Three Rivers. She always enjoyed driving a convertible automobile and she had owned a number of them. She was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church.
She is survived by nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Memorials may be made to Chapin United Methodist Church.
