Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Fr. Robert Kolenski will officiate with burial at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. and Sunday, April 9, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 3:00 P.M.
Rhonda was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 30, 1957 the daughter of Gerald and Jessie ( Lunderville ) McDonald. She resided most of her life in Corunna, Michigan and graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1975. Rhonda married Steve G. Kraus on September 12, 1975 in Flint, Michigan. She was a homemaker, and worked in childcare in the Corunna area. She loved kids. She enjoyed antiquing, and collectiong dolls. Rhonda attended St. Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso, MI
She is survived by her husband Steve G. Kraus of Corunna, MI, 2daughters; Shannon (Rich Raffaulli) Kraus of Corunna, MI, Monica & Jeff Bernat of Corunna, MI, 2 sons; Jason Kraus - Sgt in the Marine Corp., Daniel Kraus - Pvt 1st Class in the Marine Corp., 3 grandchildren; Ashley & Breeann & Ava, 4 sisters; Susan & Bill Henning of Raleigh, NC, Teresa Leverenz of Canton, MI, Cindy & Eric Hundshamer of Flushing, MI, Wendy & Mike Messler of Flint, MI, 1 brother Jerry McDonald of Westland, MI, her mother Jessie McDonald of Swartz Creek, MI, and her dog Buddie. She is predeceased by her father.
The family would like people to consider Organ Donation. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
