Richard Clayton "Pat" Campbell, age 59, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rodger DeVore officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Richard was born in Bad Axe, MI on May 31, 1952, the son of William and Marcella Marie (Van Erp) Campbell. Richard married Sharon A. Davis on July 23, 1983. Richard served his country in the US Army from 1971 - 1975. He was discharged as a Sgt. He was a retired truck driver with E&L Trucking in Canton, MI. He also worked for Drury Brothers in Durand. Richard enjoyed hunting, canoeing, farming and the outdoors. He loved being with people and his dogs. He was a member of Owosso Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharon Campbell of Owosso, MI, son Richard "Rick" Campbell of Owosso, MI, stepdaughter Shannon Cummings of St. Clair Shores, MI, grandson Jeffrey Griggs of Miami, FL, brother William Campbell of Ubly, MI, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents.
