Richard Eugene Hyatt

     Richard Eugene "Buzz" Hyatt, age 76, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

     No services will be held.  Interment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI.

     Richard was born in Bluff City, Tennessee on October 1, 1946, the son of Richard and Willie Edith (Goodman) Hyatt.  He was a graduate of Lansing Eastern High School.  Richard married Barbara Hoppe on October 26, 1968, in Lansing, MI.

     Richard served his country in the U.S. Army.  He retired from General Motors as a Fork Lift Driver. Richard enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. He was a member of the VFW Post in Laingsburg. 

     He is survived by his wife Barbara Hyatt of St. Johns, MI; daughter Eugenia Hyatt of St. Johns, MI; three grandchildren: Casey Huckaba, Dakota Huckaba, and Dustin Hyatt; his twin sister Linda and Sonny Jones of Lansing, MI; brother Bill Hyatt of St. Johns, MI; brother Dennis and Lavanda Hyatt of Eaton Rapids, MI.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his son Duane Hyatt and his sister Mary Hyatt.
