Richard Ladisky

Richard S. Ladisky age 66 of St. Johns, Michigan died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held at Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, Michigan on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be on Monday 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel. Pastor Don Ruff will officiate and burial will take place at the Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan.
Richard was born July 12, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Joseph John & Emma ( Deaner ) Ladisky. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School in St. Johns, Michigan, and resided most of his life in St. Johns, Michigan. On August 24, 1967 he married Sherry Ann Sanders in Lansing, Michigan. He was employed with Saylor Beal Manufacturing in St. Johns, Michigan retiring in 2003. He enjoyed camping & the outdoors. In the past, he was a bowler and he was also the "Iron Chef" of the grill on cookouts and was a member of Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Ann Ladisky of St. Johns, Michigan, 4 children, Lynn Pyle & Dave Allen of Ithaca, Michigan, Robin & Randy Doyen of St. Johns, Michigan, Margaret & Gary Simpson of St. Johns, Michigan, Joseph John Ladisky of St. Johns, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, David, Jessica, Jamie, Evan, Steven, Nathann & Erynne, Erica, Bill, 1 sister of Joanne Ladisky of Alma, Michigan, 1 brother, Dale & Sue Ladisky of Elsie, Michigan, He was predeceased by his parents, son William Bearndt, infant son Timothy, 1 sister, Barbara Teets.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Great Lakes Hospice in his memory.
