Richard Lee Moore age 70 of Maple Rapids, MI died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Carson City Hospital Carson City, MI.
There will be no Service. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 from 4-7 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
Richard was born in Ovid, MI on January 15, 1935 the son of Leon Charles and Crystal Pauline ( Teachworth ) Moore. He attended Fulton Schools & Perrinton-Middleton Schools. Richard married Wilma E. Foster on April 2, 1961 in Perrinton, MI. He worked for Oldsmobile retiring as a Truck Driver.
He is survived by his wife Wilma E. Moore of Maple Rapids, 2 sons; Leon R. & Cynthia Moore of Connecticut, Kent W. & Jacci Moore of Ashley, MI, 5 grandchildren, and 3 sisters; Ruth (Walter) Smith of Ashley, MI, Margaret (Keith) Sleper of St. Johns, MI, and Diana (Richard) Barrett of St. Johns, MI. He is predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers.
Memorials may be made to Hospice or the American Lung Association. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
