Richard Rewerts

Richard "Dick" Rewerts died peacefully on May 7, 2010, at the age of 68. He was born in Kewanee, Illinois, March 20, 1942, the son of Fred and Margaret (DeMent) Rewerts. Dick married Sandra Young on March 20, 1971 in Ovid. He was an Army veteran and retired from Oldsmobile.

Dick is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughters, Tracy (Sean) Burgess, Denise (Tyler) Baker, Jean (Jim) Perrin, sons, Jim (Violet) Paksi, Brian Paksi, granddaughters, Jessie Johnson, Lindsey Burgess, grandsons, Brian (Danella) Paksi, Mason Paksi, Zach Perrin, Aaron Baker, Alex Baker, Nick Baker, Jim (Amanda) Johnson, great grandson, Brayden Meyers, sister, Sandie (Paul) Thompson, brothers, Tom Rewerts, Ronald Rewerts, and many nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry, Jim, Bill and Norm Rewerts, and sister, Carol Martinez.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Houghton Chapel of Osgood Fuenral Homes, with Jesse Ball officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Contributions may be made in memory of Dick to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
