Richard Frain 'Dick' Wiser, age 85, of St. Louis, MI passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Pine River Healthcare Center, Pine River Township, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church Alma, Michigan on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:30 P.M., with Rev. Thomas C. Messer officiating.

Richard was born in St. Louis, Michigan on December 30, 1928, the son of Clifford Frain and Tressel (Story) Wiser. Richard married Dorothy Miller on May 10, 1952 in Ithaca, MI.

Dick enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors. Dick and Dorothy retired to Higgins Lake where they enjoyed many good times on his pontoon with family and friends. His grandchildren meant everything to him and he loved to be with them. Dick was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and The Elks Lodge in Alma, MI. Dick served his country in the United States Army.

He survived by his wife Dorothy Wiser of St. Louis, MI, 3 sons; Erick and Jeanne Wiser of Alma, MI, Bradley Wiser of St. Louis, MI, Jeffrey and Marie Wiser of Nashville, TN, grandchildren; Stephanie and Lewis LaRousse, Steven and Audra Wiser, Matthew and Gabrielle Wiser, Megan Wiser (Calob Giles), Christian Wiser and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters; Eloise Miller, and Joyce French and brother Clifford Wiser.
