Robert L. Cooper age 75, of St. Louis, MI passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

Robert was born in Midland County, Michigan on July 20, 1941, the son of Oliver W. and Pearl (Bailey) Cooper.  Robert is survived by his loving wife Angela Bickel Cooper, children; Matt (Patti) Cooper, Mandi (Pat) Cook, Heidi (Gary) Cook, grandchildren; Nick and Lauren Cooper, Travis and Katie Cook, Kelsey, Madison and Meghan Cook, Dylan and Emma Cooper, and sister Pat (Neil) Stacey.  Robert was preceded in death by his parents, son Dustin Cooper, sister Ardis Mizer, brother and sister-in-law Gary and Luann Cooper, and brother Richard Cooper.

Robert was the owner of Cooper's Corner in Breckenridge where many locals would gather for coffee and jokes, and was also a former Supervisor at Velsicol Chemical.  Everyone who knew Bob knew him as a kind, caring and gentle man.  Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as time on the golf course.  Bob was known for being a practical joker, and would always put a smile on anyone's face.

A Memorial Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, St. Louis, MI, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Terri Bentley officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 - 1:00 PM. at the church.
