Robert David Wilson

     Robert David Wilson, age 84, of Elsie, MI, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
     Cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
     Robert was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 13, 1940, the son of William and Marie (Voge) Wilson. Bob married the love of his life, Hazel M. Whitford on July 22, 1967, in Ovid, Michigan.
     Bob was a self-employed dry waller and carpenter all of his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bob enjoyed gardening, golf cart rides and sitting on the deck with his wife drinking coffee watching wildlife, especially deer and birds. Bob was a man of deep faith.
     He is survived by his wife and soul mate Hazel Wilson of Elsie, MI; children: Sherri and Scully Wilson-Mulligan of Elsie, MI; Robert John and Paula Wilson of Perrinton, MI; Amy Wilson of Elsie, MI; grandchildren: Liv, Chelsea, Frankie, Haley, and Jared; and great-grandchildren: Beau, Joshua, Leighanna, Parker, Raelynn, Cameron, and Alaina Irene. He is also survived by his brothers: Frank and Glenda Grimmett of Georgia; and Bill and Ellen Wilson of Owosso, MI. He was preceded in death by two wonderful people who helped raise him, Lloyd and Stella Whitford and many beloved friends.
