Robert Jeremy "Bobby" Dennis

     Robert Jeremy "Bobby" Dennis, age 43, of Bannister, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at his home.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 8, 2024, with Pastor Jim Duntley officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

   Bobby was born in Carson City, Michigan on July 6, 1980, the son of Robert Alan Dennis and Gwendolyn Kay (Burch) Dennis. He married Cassondra Sue Richmond on November 28, 2020, at a family friend’s barn. Bobby spent many years working as a drywaller in the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. He loved being home and spending time with his family and friends. 

   He is survived by his wife Cassondra Dennis of Bannister, MI; step-children: Jonathan Snider, Grace Snider, and BreeAnna Snider; mother Gwendolyn Dennis of Ashley, MI; sisters: Cassandra and Jim Smith of Owosso, MI; Melissa Dennis of Elsie, Alysha Dennis of Ashley, MI; his grandmother Burdell Burch of Carson City, MI; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, his grandfathers: Clifford Burch and Earl Dennis; his grandmother Betty Dennis, and his uncles: Stan and Bernie Burch.
