Robert Max Grimwood Sr. age 76 of Carson City, Michigan died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Carson City, Michigan on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel. Dr. Robert Grimwood Jr. will officiate and burial will take place at Ferris Center Cemetery, Vestaburg, Michigan.

Robert was born on June 4, 1930 the son of Charley G. & Edith Pearl ( Moore ) Grimwood in Lansing, Michigan. He resided most of his life in Lansing, Crystal & Carson City, Michigan. On November 12, 1986 he married Irene Taylor in Orlando Florida. Max was the owner & operator of Capitol Aluminum & IDL Technology, Carson City, Michigan and former owner & operator of Quality Awning in Lansing and Owosso, Michigan. He attended First Baptist Church, Carson City, Michigan, and was a former Cub Scout Master Pack #292 for many years. He enjoyed working and spending time at his cottage on Crystal Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Grimwood of Carson City, Michigan, 3 sons; Robert Max & Judy Grimwood Jr. of Lansing, Michigan, Terry Lynn Grimwood of Carson City, Michigan, Timothy Lee & Sandy Grimwood of Crystal, Michigan, 4 step children; Kammie & Dennis Hanley of Orlando, Florida, Randy Lee Burns of Orlando, Florida, Michael Allen & Robin Burns of Tennessee, Elsia Shively of Owosso, Michigan, 25 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren, 1 sister Juanita & Paul Katzke of Wisconsin, and 1 daughter in law Margaret Grimwood of Williamston, Michigan. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Ronald, 4 sisters & 1 brother.

Memorial may be made to a scholarship fund to be set up at Fellowship Baptist Academy or Carson City Hospice Program in Maxa�(TM)s memory. The family is being served by the Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
