Robert Hall

Robert P. Hall, age 81, of Ithaca, MI died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Masonic Pathways Doig Chapel, Alma, MI on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. Pastor George Ayoub will officiate.

Robert was born in Newport, Arkansas on September 24, 1927, the son of Earl L. and Beatrice (Folks) Hall. He was married to Colleen Hall on October 5, 1980 in Farwell, MI. He had resided in Ithaca since 1993. Robert retired from General Motors as a Millwright in 1976. He loved fishing, working outside, gardening, and traveling to Florida. He served in the US Navy during WWII.

He is survived by his wife Colleen Hall of Ithaca, MI, 3 daughters; Beverly and Barry Wolfgang of Linden, MI, Jeanie and David Maginity of Glennie, MI, Robin and Bruce Cantley of Flint, MI, stepson Richard and Janet Souder of Mt. Pleasant, MI, step daughter Diane and David Hoxie of Sparta, MI, step son Randall and Natalie Souder of Mt. Pleasant, MI, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and sister Peggy & Harold Benson of Newport, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Anna "Christine" Hall, 2 stepsons, and 5 brothers.
