Robert Lang

Robert Lawrence Lang age 74, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, at his son's home.

Funeral Services will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, Dewitt, MI on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., with Chaplain Chris Mcneilly officiating.  Burial will be at Alchin Cemetery, Webberville, MI.  Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI.

Robert was born in Fowlerville, MI on October 16, 1942, the son of Lawrence A. and Lottie D. (Hoag) Lang. He graduated from Fowlerville High School and he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Robert was a fork truck driver for a manufacturing company in PA.  Robert enjoyed his family, and his grandchildren were very important to him.  His dog Cracker was his companion for many years.

He is survived by 2 sons; Steven and Rhonda Lang of Perrinton, MI, Scott Lang of Lansing, MI, daughter Lisa and Vince Yarger of Lansing, MI, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 sisters; Ardis Dowland, Mary Wallace, Millie and Delmas Reed, Alice Williams, Shirley and Bob Henning, and brother Chuck and Julie Lang.  He was predeceased by his parents, and his daughter, Teresa.
