Robert Lindsey

Robert Eugene Lindsey age 66, of Alma, MI, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 12:00 P.M., with Pastor Gary Simmons officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 P.M.

Robert was born in Middleton, Michigan on February 17, 1950, the son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Campbell) Lindsey.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  Robert married Loretta Sue Switzer on May 20, 1978 in Alma, MI.  Robert was a truck driver for Boichot Concrete Corp., before retiring in 2005.  He enjoyed John Deere Lawn Mowers, genealogy; loved the Tigers and Lions, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Sue Lindsey of Alma, MI, daughters; Tammy Kosnik of St. Johns, MI, Julie (Bradley) Clark of Mt. Pleasant, MI, siblings; Sandra (Rodney) Derrick, Gordon (Mary) Lindsey, and Darwin (Joyce) Lindsey.  He is also survived by five grandchildren; Olivia, Isabel and Emily Kosnik, and Logan and Lindsey Clark.  He was predeceased by his parents and son-in-law Matthew Kosnik.
