Robert William Perrigo

      Robert William Perrigo, age 76, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at Laurels of Mt. Pleasant, Mt. Pleasant, Isabella County.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI, at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.

      Robert was born in St. Louis, Michigan on November 13, 1946, the son of Roy John and Mildred Marie (Wilkins) Perrigo.

     Bob enjoyed music and daily visits to Petticoat Junction for coffee with friends. He loved spending time with his special friend April VanKampen. He will be remembered for always being there for his friends, whether it be a giving them a ride somewhere or a listening ear. Bob was a member of Oasis Community Church in Ithaca. 

     He is survived by nephews and nieces: Craig and Eileen Perrigo of Pensacola, FL;  Jeanette Wolgast of Breckenridge, MI; Margaret White of Breckenridge, MI; Diane and Terry Juhas of St. Johns, MI; Linda and Barry Decker of Fairhaven, MI; Mike and Sally Mizer of Brown City, MI;  Karen and Larry Moe of Midland, MI; Bonnie and Jon Wolfgang of Wheeler, MI; Jeff and Deb Mizer of Cedar Springs, MI; David and Terry Perrigo of Jacksonville, FL, Kristine and Gregg Iles of Saginaw, MI;  Barbara and Ron Schreiner of Saginaw, MI; Darci and Rod Rummer of Sumner, MI; Colleen Gray of Alma, MI; Denise and Lanny Caverly of Lexington, MI; and Julia DeLong of Riverdale, MI. He is also survived by many great-nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his special friend April VanKampen, parents Roy and Marie Perrigo, siblings: toddler brother, Charles Perrigo, Fredrick and Pat Perrigo, Randall and Evelyn Perrigo, Jane and Roy Mizer, Richard and Irene Perrigo, nieces and nephews: Patsy Siler, Emilie and Greg DeGeer, Kathy and Mike Greene, Charles Perrigo, and Patrick Mizer.
