Robert Seelhoff

Robert Lee “Bobby” Seelhoff, age 48, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2020, with Bobby's father, Pastor Scott Seelhoff, officiating.  Burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the funeral home.

Robert was born in Carson City, Michigan on March 27, 1971, the son of Norman Scott and Sharon Kay (Salisbury) Seelhoff.  On March 3, 1990, Bobby married Shawn Lynnette Fisher at Faith Baptist Church, Elsie, MI.

Bobby enjoyed woodworking, and fishing. He liked road trips on his motorcycle or in his jeep. Bobby enjoyed listening to old country music, watching westerns and dancing. He loved camping and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bobby is survived by his wife Shawn Seelhoff of St. Johns; 3 children: Heath Seelhoff of St. Johns, MI; Heather (Thomas Peiffer) Seelhoff of Bannister, MI; and Holly (Tyler Little) Seelhoff of Corunna, MI; 5 grandchildren: Maxwell Perkins Jr., Kainen Seelhoff, Mary Jane Seelhoff, Colton Perkins, and Scottlyn Peiffer; and his parents: Scott (Debbie) Seelhoff and Sharon (Dearrell Cobb) Salisbury. He is also survived by 3 siblings: Kim (Paul) English, Ben (Jen) Cobb, and Nathan (Mindy) Seelhoff; sisters-in-law: Sonja (Jeremy) Potter and Terri Fisher and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother Scotty Seelhoff, grandparents, father-in-law Thomas Fisher, and mother-in-law Jean Fisher Wadley.
