Robert Speidel

Robert "Spider" Speidel, age 71, passed away October 6, 2014. He was born in Clinton Co., on January 20, 1943, the son of R.G. and Ida Mae (Thompson) Speidel. Bob was a loyal friend, loving son, devoted father and caring brother whose heart was filled with humor and joy, he loved the woods and enjoyed making maple syrup.

He is survived by his daughter, Sara (Kirk Anderson) Markman of Grand Rapids, sister, Carolyn (Robert) Bough of West Bloomfield, MI, two brothers, Paul Speidel of Alto, MI, and Roger Speidel of St. Petersburg, FL, his mother, Ida Mae Speidel and two nieces, Kathryn Bough of Northville, and Cynthia (Dennis) Kubert of Livonia. He was preceded in death by his father, R.G. Speidel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the UAW Hall, 117 W. Walker St., St. Johns at 11:30 a.m. The family was served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
