Robert "Bob" E. Yurek, age 64, of Owosso, Michigan died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Bob was born in St. Johns, Michigan on August 14, 1946, the son of Joseph Edward and Agnes Mary (Marek) Yurek. He collected trains and planes and loved astronomy. Bob also liked watching old time movies.
He is survived by one brother Joseph and Margaret Yurek of St. Johns, MI, and two sisters; Margaret Berry of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Joanne and Daryll Heinrich of Ovid, MI, and a special cousin Buzzy Sisco of Owosso, MI. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mildred Clark.
