Roberta A. “Robbie”, “Cookie” Virgo age 62, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 3:00 P.M., with Pastor Terri Bentley officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Robbie was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 5, 1954, the daughter of Robert F. and Edrie (Idiens) Best. She married Keith Virgo on May 30, 1998 at St. Johns Episcopal, Alma, MI.  Robbie retired as a Respiratory Therapist from Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, MI.

Robbie enjoyed reading, camping and spending time outdoors. She was an avid Tiger's fan with Prince Fielder being her Tiger. Robbie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was actively involved with Relay for Life.

Robbie is survived by her husband Keith Virgo, children; Chris and Kenna Lamentola, Tim Lamentola, Monica (Jon Lopez) Lamentola, Lianne and Pete Lower, Victoria Virgo, Sam (Ellie) Virgo, grandchildren; Jessica, Kegan, Hannah, Jordyn, Taylor, Madison, and Dylan and great grandchildren; Rylin and Lincoln.  She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Sam “Butch”.
