Roger W. Hall, Sr., age 67, of Owosso, MI passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Bishop Fred Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2009 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel.

Roger was born in Owosso, Michigan on November 12, 1941, the son of Chester Emmet and Ruth Maxine (Barnes) Hall. Roger married Delores Wygant on August 6, 1965 in Corunna, MI. He served in the U.S. Army and resided all of his life in Owosso.

Roger loved woodworking, winning the Michigan State Fair Best of Show and Best of Class in woodworking as well as winning 2 years in a row at Shiawassee County Fair. He lived for his family and was known for his special fudge. Roger enjoyed fishing and playing games with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife Delores Hall of Owosso, MI, son Roger and Dawn Hall, Jr. of Elsie, MI, daughter June Hall of Flint, MI, son Donald and Jeanie Hall of Princeton, IN, daughter Heather and Frank Gomos of Owosso, MI, his first favorite grandchildren; Courtney Hall, Zack "Bubba" Hall, Chelsee Hall, Nikki Hall, Johnathon Gomos, Jacob Gomos, Jessica Gomos, Ava Myler, 2 sisters; Mary Hall, Linda and Al, brother Ron and Shirley Hall, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Maurer and brother Larry Hall. Memorials may be made to the Perpetual Education Fund though the Church Of The Latter Day Saints.
