Roger Sperry

Roger A. Sperry age 59 of Alma, Michigan died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, Michigan on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Richard McLane will officiate with burial at Riverside Cemetery Alma, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007 from 1-3 P.M.

Roger was born in Alma, Michigan on January 11, 1948 the son of Milburn and Hazel ( Vought ) Sperry. He resided most of his life in Alma, Michigan and attended Ithaca & Carson City, Crystal Schools. Roger served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972. He was employed at the Comfort Inn in Alma for the past 15 years as a janitor. Roger had prevouis attended First United Methodist Church, St. Louis, Michigan.

He is survived by his son Michael Sperry of Tennessee, 2 brothers; Milburn & Dorothy Sperry of Brant, Michigan, Victor & Rita Sperry of Chesaning, Michigan, 2 sisters; Sybil Sperry of St. Louis, Michigan, Louise Litwiller of Carson City, Michigan, 2 sisters in-law; Connie Sperry of Winn, Michigan, Patricia Sperry of Nottawa, special friend Jeffery Crispin of Alma, Michigan, and many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers; Wayne & Delbert Sperry, and 2 nephews; Jody & David Sperry.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice Program. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
