Ronald Feltman

Ronald Felix “Ron” Feltman age 76, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 1:00 P.M., with Dr. Keith Wise officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. A private family burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI.

Ronald was born in Shepherd, Michigan on September 2, 1940, the son of Clarence and Clara (Meyer) Feltman. On June 16, 1962 he married Carolyn Acton at Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Louis, MI.

Ron retired from General Motors in 2004. He loved golfing, bowling, woodworking and working around his home. He was a true blue Michigan Fan.  Ron was the best of the best, husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. He was the rock of his family and went above and beyond for all of them. He was a member of the Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, children; Troy and Terri  Feltman, Chad and Tami Feltman, Kelly and Robert  Ellsworth, grandchildren;  Larissa, Breanne, Lee, Zachary, Nathan, Brockton, and Ashten, great grandchildren; Jace, Easton, and Gunnar, sisters; Kathleen Perry, and Norma Allen, brothers in law; Ron and Sandee Acton and Greg Dietz.  He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Jim Duggan, Jerry Feltman, and Shirley Dietz.
