Ronald Hoag

Ronald Duane Hoag age 89 of Owosso, Michigan died April 4, 2008 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility.
Memorial Services will be held at Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church Owosso, MI on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 7:00 PM. Pastor Don Galardi will officiate.
Ronald was born in Owosso, Michigan on May 6, 1918 the son of Otto Claud & Nellie (Davis) Hoag. He lived in the Owosso Area all of his life. He attended Emerson Elementary School and graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1937. Ronald married Arlene Mae O'Connor on August 1, 1941 in Owosso, Michigan. He worked for Johnson Controls for 30 years and he retired in 1979. He enjoyed going hunting in the U.P. He also enjoyed trout fishing and going to Higgins Lake to fish. He truly loved the Lord. Ronald was a member of Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene M. Hoag of Owosso, MI, daughter, Linda & Robert Hill of Lansing, MI, son, David & Helen Hoag of Owosso, MI, daughter in-law, Terry Hoag of Alpena, MI, 9 Grandchildren:, 13 Great-Grandchildren:, 1 Great-Great Grandchild. He is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, son; John Hoag in 2004, Grandson; Zachary Hoag and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Memorials may be made to Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
