Ronald Howard

Ronald Gilbert "Ron" Howard, age 59, of Ovid, MI, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at Sparrow Health Systems Sparrow Campus, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at New Creation Church, 1800 Corunna Ave, Owosso, MI 48867, on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Brian Keesler officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at the church.

Ronald was born in Sacramento, CA, on January 14, 1961, the son of Ronald and Vyrgle (Warren) Howard. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Ron married Kelly Dolney on September 10, 1983, in Lake Tahoe.

Ron was employed with Martin Brower. He enjoyed football and NASCAR. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren; he was a proud Papa.  Ron took great pride in maintaining his yard. He was an avid U of M and 49ers fan. Ron was committed to his family, friends, work and his church family. He was a member of New Creation Church, Owosso, MI where he enjoyed serving as an usher.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Howard, sons: Dustin and Bobbi Howard, Chad and Jena Howard, grandchildren: Brody, Brielle, Reid, and Ryder, mother Sandy Howard, and step brother Eddie Howard.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
