Ronald Ruvolo

Ronald R. Ruvolo age 68 of St. Johns, Michigan died Sunday, October 10, 2004 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, Michigan. Rev. Tim Knaus will officiate with burial at Mount Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2004 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Decatur, Illinois on July 29, 1936 the son of Joseph R. & Bessie May ( Sapp ) Ruvolo. His childhood was spent in California. He then joined the Navy and traveled. He came to St. Johns in July of 1976 after retiring from the Navy. Ronald married Elizabeth DeGeer in Las Vegas on June 27, 1964. He loved fishing, yard work, football and baseball.
Ronald is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ruvolo of St. Johns, MI, 2 daughters Marie & Jim Orr of Elsie, MI, & Dottie & Gary Green of St. Johns, MI, 4 granddaughters Jessica Ball, Katie Beracy, Kayla Beracy, Stephanie Green, 1 great grandson Braden Ball, many nieces & nephews as well as brothers & sisters-in-law. He is predeceased by his parents, mother & father-in-law, and 2 brothers-in-law.
Memorials may be made to the family. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
