Rosalie Watters

Rosalie Elda Watters, age 66, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida formerly of Owosso passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday May 7, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM and on Saturday, May 8, 2010 prior to the service from 11-1 PM at the Funeral Home.

Rosalie was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 21, 1944, the daughter of Robert Walter and Lela Elda (Sisco) Fowler. Rosalie resided in Michigan most of her life.

Rosalie loved the outdoors and gardening, nature was very important to her. She also loved to decorate her home. Rosalie had a cat named Precious that was her world.

She is survived by her son Lawrence V. Watters III of Norfolk, NE, 3 daughters; Jennie O. and Kenneth Mills of Battle Creek, MI, Lela L. Stanfield and Scott Sterling of Bancroft, MI, and Bernadette A. and Richard Goka of Owosso, MI, 7 grandchildren; AJ Mills, Brandon Mills, Shane & Lacey Mills, Kryshelle & Andrew Skutt, Tayln Watters, Hanna Watters and Chasity Stanfield, 2 great-grandchildren; Bryce Mills, Sophie Mills and one on the way, brother Roger and Mary Fowler of Vestaburg, MI, and 3 sisters; Mary Janes of Owosso, MI, Carol Snow of Mesa, AZ, Joanna and Roger Moore of Biloxi, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Kyle Lynn Stanfield, and several brothers and sisters.
