Rosalyn Jordan

Rosalyn J. "Rose" Jordan, age 76, of Elsie, Michigan died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Audie Clairmont will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery and visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.

Rosalyn was born in Elsie, Michigan on July 23, 1933, the daughter of Rudolph and Ruby (Evans) Hoshield. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1952. On January 9, 1954 she married Clarence "Bud" Jordan, Bud died April 28, 1988. Rose retired from the Lear Corporation in Elsie in August of 1998. Rose enjoyed her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed going for rides in the countryside, setting in the side yard in the swing, and enjoyed camping. She resided all of her life in the Elsie area, she was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her 2 daughters; Sherry and David Boyd of Oakley, Michigan, Robin Jordan of Elsie, Michigan, 2 sons; Rod Jordan of Ashley, Michigan, Randy Jordan of Atlanta, Michigan, daughter-in-law Donna Jordan of Bannister, Michigan, 2 sisters; Beatrice Baese of Prudenville, MI, Dorthea Kelley of Elsie, Michigan and brother Frank and Gwen Hoshield of Elsie, Michigan. Rose was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Chris, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.
