Rose Myers

Rose Marie Myers, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, MI, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, at 11:00 A.M.  on Tuesday, January 15, 2019,  with Rose's nephew, Rick Lippert, Minister of Barryton Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman, MI. Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI.

Rose was born in Alma, Michigan on July 16, 1948, the daughter of Clinton and Lucy Mae (Brennaman) Lippert.  She graduated from St. Louis High School.  Rose was an LPN for many years prior to her retirement.  She was also a member of the Clare SDA Church.

Rose dearly loved her family and her grandchildren have many special memories at her house. Rose was a very talented lady. She loved to sew, crochet, and embroider. She also enjoyed canning, gardening, and caring for her flowers.  She liked her fish, but she LOVED her cats!

Rose is survived by 2 daughters:  April Moffett of Harrison, Vicki (Tim) Sansote of Mt. Pleasant; step daughter Wendy (John) Bachaz of Morely, 6 grandchildren: Amber Wright, Amy (Ray) Durnez, Autum Moffett, Keith Moffett III, Crystal (Shawn) Chapman, and Howard Chapman; 2 step-grand-children: Tucker Krenn and Nautika Krenn; and many great grandchildren.  She is also survived by brother Samuel (Luwinda) Lippert, sister Martha Jane (Jimmy) Thompson, sister-in-law Ruth Ann Lippert Hopkins, and many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Julie Ann Cunningham, grandson Steven Wright, brother Allen Lippert and longtime companion Cedric Render.
