Rosella Hyde

Rosella A. Hyde died January 22, 2009 at the age of 93. Born in Bingham Township on July 31, 1915 the daughter of Frank and Anna (Doyle) Desprez and lived in St. Johns all of her life. Rosella worked as a secretary and bookkeeper most of her adult life as well as being a homemaker. She married R.G. Hyde in Maple Rapids, November 2, 1935, and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1997.

Surviving are two sons, Gary (Judy) Hyde and Wayne (Linda) Hyde all of St. Johns, five grandchildren, Therese (Bill) Henning, Tim (Judy) Hyde, Robert (Laura) Hyde, Kelly (Nathan) Otto, Amy (Bean) Barrett and ten great grandchildren. Also preceding Rosella in death were two brothers, Gaylord and Allen Desprez and one sister, Ethyl Eaton.

Funeral Services will be held at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2009 with Pastor Kathy Leydorf officiating. Burial at Sowle Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of contributions to Clinton Area Ambulance Service, Lowe United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice
