Rosemary Lawrence

Rosemary Lawrence, age 74, of Ithaca, Michigan died Friday, November 26, 2010 with her children at her side at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Dale Wolfe and Pastor Kathy Thigpen will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.

Rosemary was born in Ithaca, Michigan on August 19, 1936, the daughter of Charles Oren and Crystal Marie (Stoner) Patterson. She had resided most of her life in the Lansing area, returning to Ithaca in 1991. Rosemary did hairdressing for the elderly in nursing homes in the area for many years and she enjoyed camping, reading, crocheting. Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by 1 daughter Dorene and Gary Barthlow of Alma, MI, 2 sons; Robert and Nancy Lohrer of Orleans, MI, William and Robin Lohrer of Perrinton, MI, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 sisters; Peggy Marcus, Melba and Bud Kettle, Sandy and Norm Graham, Leona and Bob Todd, 2 brothers; RJ and Thelma Patterson, Charles & Nancy Patterson, and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ed, son Gary, grandson Joshua, 2 sisters, Wynona and Waneda, and 2 brothers Red and Melvin.
