Roy James "Jimmy" Wood age 63 of Owosso, Michigan died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Chesaning Nursing Care Center, Chesaning, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Pastor Brian Heidt will officiate with burial at Elmwood Cemetery New Lothrop, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Roy was born in Goodrich, Michigan on April 1, 1945 the son of Leslie and Arlene ( Beiser ) Wood. Jimmy enjoyed being with family and watching the Tigers and Red Wings. He worked at Taco Bell for eight years. His job was very important to him. Jimmy was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving niece & guardian Cindy & Bruce Bitterman of Chesaning, MI, brothers; Gary Wood of Owosso, Jack & Suzanne Wood of Morrice, and many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, stepmother Geraldine Wood, special sister-in-law June Wood, and sister Janet Hall.

Memorials may be made to ARC of Owosso. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, Michigan.
