Ruth Woodcock

Ruth Helen Woodcock age 79, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, Michigan on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Amstutz officiating.   Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.  prior to the service at the Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan.

Ruth was born June 10, 1936 the daughter of Carl and Pearl (Phelps) McClintic in Shepherd, Michigan.  Ruth married Bernard Woodcock on February 5, 1955.  He passed away in January of 2000. She resided most of her life in St. Louis, Michigan.

She is survived by her son Scott and Cindy Woodcock of Lake Isabella, MI; daughter Sue Perry of St. Louis, MI; son Don, of Alma, MI;  daughter-in-law Carol Woodcock of Alma, MI; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Harold  and Pauline McClintic of St. Louis, MI;  sister Janice and John Jourdain of Clare, MI; brother Jack and Bonnie McClintic of Mt. Pleasant, MI; brother Tom and Vivian McClintic of St. Louis, MI. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steve Woodcock also several brothers and sisters.
