Sally Faye (Mapes) Parrish age 70, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Justin Daron officiating.  Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ithaca, Michigan.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan.

Sally was born January 29, 1946 the daughter of Victor and Inez (Clark) Moore in Breckenridge, Michigan.  She resided most of her life in Ithaca, Michigan.  Sally married Robert Parrish on September 14, 2002 in St. Louis, MI.  She was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ.

In earlier years Sally assisted on the family farm in Lakeview, Michigan.  She was involved in farm and livestock organizations, including 4-H and Michigan Simmental Organization.  Sally was also involved in the Kelsey Hospital Guild.  In later years, she and her first husband, Gerald Mapes operated two Dollar Stores in Sturgis and Ithaca.  Sally loved cooking and sewing.  Spending time with her family brought her great joy.  She also enjoyed photography and had a love for flowers.  Sally and Bob spent their winters in Lakeland, Florida.

She is survived by her husband Robert Parrish, of St. Louis, MI; son Philip and Corine Mapes of Coral, MI; daughter Mary and Gerald Russell of Six Lakes, MI; son Matthew  and Michele Mapes of Slippery Rock, PA; step daughter Tina Parrish of Clare, MI; step daughter Peggy Zinn of Traverse City, MI; step daughter Penelope and Donald Tohm of St, Charles, MI; 6 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; half-brother William and Rachel Huddle of Crystal, MI; half-brother David and Joann Huddle of Stanton, MI.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Jack Huddle, first husband, Gerald Mapes and her brother, Craig Moore.
