Samuel George Cliff

   Samuel George "Sam" Cliff, age 63, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his home in the company of his dogs. 

   A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 2, 2024.

   Samuel was born in Bay City, MI on December 19, 1960, the son of Charles and Marie (Wallace) Cliff.  He was a graduate of Bullock Creek High School in Midland, MI.

   Sam loved his dogs.  He had a passion for old cars, especially corvettes.  Sam loved to work outdoors and in his younger years he enjoyed snowmobiling and boating.  He worked as a finisher in the construction business for many years. Sam loved to help people and would go out of his way to help but remained a private person. playing cribbage, chess and any games of skill with friends was a favorite pastime. Sam even enjoyed cutting firewood, which kept him busy and in shape.  

   He is survived by his friends who were like family Charlie and Samantha Acklin; Cindi Fry; Archie Bovee also his niece Lynn Berry-Whitsett.  Sam is also survived by many other friends that were an important part of his life. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and Brent, who was like a son to him, also his best friend Rick Moon and 2 brothers:  Larry and Fred.
