Sandra K. Blackwell, age 75, of Ithaca, MI died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Sandra was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 12, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Brown) McDaniel. On March 4, 1961 she married William Blackwell in Highland, Michigan who survives her. She had resided most of her life in the Lapeer area moving to Ithaca in 2005. Sandra had owned and operated a Laundromat in Lapeer and a flower shop in Rochester, MI. She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting and gardening.

She is survived by husband William Blackwell of Ithaca, MI, 4 daughters; Pamela and David Adkisson, Penny and Steve Pratt, Deborah and Mark McDaris, Jacqueline and Douglas Freel, 3 sons; Harold and Kathleen Steurer, Robert and Iv Blackwell, Dalton and Theresa Blackwell, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Marilyn Marcy, Nancy Brooks, and 1 brother; Lawrence McDaniel. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 brother Glen McDaniel, and brother in law Kenneth Brooks.
