Sandra Hill

Sandra Kay Hill age 53 of Ithaca, Michigan died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She left us very unexpectedly and much too soon, but has gone home to be with the Lord. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Ithaca United Methodist Church, Ithaca, Michigan at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 P.M. and Monday 2-8 P.M. and the family will be present 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel. Burial will take place at Riverdale Cemetery, Riverdale, Michigan.
Sandy was born in Greenville, Michigan on April 21, 1953 the daughter of LeRoy & Martha ( Clements ) Jorgensen. She graduated from Central Michigan University, and then began her thirty-two-year career as an elementary School Teacher for Ithaca Public Schools. She also attended Ithaca Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 31 years, Dan Hill of Ithaca, her special daughters Amy & Tim parker of Lansing, Michigan, Abby & Ryan Throop of Lambertville, Michigan, her father Stan Jorgensen and special friend Sue Oa�(TM)Brien of Greenville, Michigan, one brother Steve & Linda Jorgensen of Morrison, Colorado, several beloved brothers & sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Jorgensen.
Her brilliant smile and infectious laugh will never be forgotten, as well as her kindness, compassion and love for everyone surrounding her. She touched hundreds of lives as she shared her talents and gifts with students, friends and loved ones.
Dan, Amy and Abby would like to thank their amazing friends and family for their support and love in this difficult time.
