Sandra Sue Kelley, age 67, of Elsie, MI passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Sandra was born in St. Johns, Michigan on January 22, 1948, the daughter of Galen and Lorene (Whittaker) Bashore. Sandy married Fred Kelley on July 10, 1965 at Duplain Church of Christ.
Sandy worked at Pete's Place in Bannister, Eppingers Company making fishing lures and at Ashley Corporation as a forklift driver for many years. Her last position was with the St. Johns School District. Sandy enjoyed fishing, watching birds, gardening and camping with her sisters. She liked doing crafts and going to the casino. She loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Fred Kelley of Elsie, Michigan, children; Theresa Kelley of Elsie, Michigan, Lorrie Crumbaugh of Bannister, Michigan, Doug and Chandra Kelley of South Boardman, Michigan, 12 grandchildren; Erin Kelley, Brooke Deming, Brian Deming, Jordan Deming, Tyler Skaryd, Joe Skaryd, Adreanna Crumbaugh, Trent Crumbaugh, Becca Crumbaugh, Ryan Dennis, Ariel Arsnoe and Cole Kelley. She is also survived by her siblings; Gayla (James) Clock of Houghton Lake, MI, William (Barbara) Bashore of St. Johns, MI, Pam (Robert) Davis of Eureka, MI, Bonnie Sperling of Marion Springs, MI, Deb Reed of Bannister, MI, Penny (Dale) Kelley of Elsie, MI, step sister Kim Monahan of St, Johns, MI, sister in law Connie Bashore of Elsie, MI and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Terry Bashore, nephews; Gale Davis and Scott Bashore, brothers in law; Mike Sperling and Kerry Reed.
