Sandra Simos

Sandra Ann Simos age 65 of Redford, Michigan died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center Flint, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Sunday, November 4, 2004 at 3:00 PM. Pastor Mike Prince will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 3:00 P.M.

Sandra was born in Deckerville, Michigan on March 26, 1942 the daughter of Charles and Rena ( Black ) Squires. She resided most of her life in Redford, Michigan and graduated from Deckerville High School with the class of 1959. Sandra married Thomas James Simos on June 25, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away in 1983. She was a nurse at Straith Hospital in South Field, Michigan for thirty years before retiring in 2003. Sandra enjoyed reading crocheting, painting, shopping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sandra was a member of Ward Presbyterian in Livonia.

She is survived by her son James Charles & Jennifer Simos of Westland, MI, daughter Renee & John Brown of Corunna, MI, grandchildren; Austin, Lindsay, & Thomas, niece Karen Sue Derieg of Clinton Township, MI, and 2 nephews; Andrew McQueen of Macomb Township, MI, Bryan Yelcho of Westland, MI. She is predeceased by her parents and husband.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
