Sandra Lee "Sandy" (Wolfe) Woodworth

    Sandra "Sandy" Woodworth, age 79, of Ovid, MI, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Sparrow Hospital - Clinton in St. Johns, MI.

     At Sandy's request, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  She will be buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI, at a later date.

     Sandy was born May 8, 1942 in St. Johns, Michigan, daughter to Robert and Mildred (Hunt) Wolfe.  She graduated from Ovid High School with the class of 1960.  Sandy was the beloved wife of Maurice "Woody" Woodworth.  They were married on June 24, 1961 and shared nearly 61 years together.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  She loved her time at their vacation homes in Florida and Farwell, MI.

     Sandy had a special love for her pets through the years.  Caleb, her dog, was most loved.  She will be remembered for her smile, her never ending love for her husband, daughter, son, and friends.

     Sandy is survived by her husband Woody, daughter Raini (Roger) Adams of Elsie, MI, son Rodney (Melanie) Woodworth of Ovid, MI; 3 grandchildren: David Scott (Anna) Bigelow of Holt, MI, Quintin (Marsha Bennett) Bigelow of Lansing, MI, and Jessica Woodworth of Elsie, MI; and great-granddaughter Sarah Bigelow.  She is also survived by sisters: Ginny (Gary) Stambersky and Sally (Gary) Newcombe.  She was preceded in death by parents Robert and Mildred Wolfe.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ovid Public Library.
