Sandra Kay Wrath, age 68, of Alma, MI passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Jim Bear officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Alma, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Sandy was born in Owosso, Michigan on February 13, 1945, the daughter of Robert and Mable (Soper) Richards. She graduated from Alpena High School with the class of 1964. She married Richard D. Wrath on April 20, 1991 at Forrest Hill Church. Sandy loved to knit, crochet, paint, computer games, bingo, and watching her soap operas. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Alma.

She is survived by her husband Richard D. Wrath, 4 daughters; Anna Marie and Marlen Strong of Florida, Lisa Kay and Tim Kieffer of Chicago, IL, Sue Beck of Alma, MI, Mary Beth and Chris Murphy of Pennsylvania, 7 stepchildren; Norma Jean and Bill Chaney of Tennessee, Kendall and Betty Wrath of Texas, Letha Buckles of Texas, Mary and David (Townsend) Morford of Florida, Rick and Tammy Wrath of Florida, Tommy Wrath of Midland, Carla Wrath of Florida, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
