Sarah Risley

Sarah M. Risley age 85 of St. Louis, Michigan, went to heaven to live with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday June 29, 2007. Funeral services will be at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 P.M. with Rev. Emma Neff officiating and burial will take place at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, Michigan.
Sarah was born in Bethany Township Michigan on April 19, 1922 the daughter of Thomas & Ida (Shaffier) Jones and had resided most of her life in St. Louis, Michigan. She married Ray Warren Risley in Breckenridge, Michigan on September 1, 1949. Ray died Jan. 14, 2005. Sarah was a homemaker and a minister for 45 years at the Healing from Heaven Church, St. Louis & Elwell, Michigan. She enjoyed sewing, canning and playing board games and doing puzzles. One of the favorite times in her life was when she traveled to the Holy Lands in Israel. She truly enjoyed meeting with people.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris Jones of Alma, Michigan, 1 son, Michael & Terri Sue Risley of Ashley, Michigan, 9 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren, She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 son, Richard & 1 daughter Susan, 3 sisters & 4 brothers and 2 son in laws.
Memorials may be made to Schnepps Healthcare Center activity fund.
