Scott Thomas Simonton age 35 of St. Louis, Michigan died Friday, September 29, 2006 in South Dakota as a result of a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at Jasper Township Cemetery, Midland County, Michigan. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Scott was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 10, 1971 to Sharon Simonton. He graduated from Breckenridge High School with the class of 1990 were he was active on the J.V. & Varsity Football team.
Scott was currently employed at Merillat Cabinet Company in South Dakota, and was previously employed at Alma products until moving to South Dakota a year ago. He loved motorcycle riding, hunting & mechanics. He was a member of Rushmore Chapter of ABATE in South Dakota.
Survivors include his mother, Sharon Simonton & Kelly Spradling Sr. of Rapid City, South Dakota, 1 daughter, Samantha Simonton of Salem, Indiana, mother of his child, Sherri Brown of Salem, Indiana, grandfather, Henry Eaton of St. Louis, Michigan, 1 sister, Drusilla, 4 brothers, Gary, Leonard, Edward & Kevin. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Anita Eaton and great grandmother Helen Simonton.
